Jean-François GINGLINGER

Dr. Jean-François Ginglinger obtained his engineer degree in biotechnologies at the ENSAIA in 2005 (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Agronomie et des Industries Alimentaires –Superior National School of Agronomy and Food Sciences, Nancy, France). He was a researcher in plant biology in the department of Metabolic Networks at the IBMP in Strasbourg (Institut de Biologie Moléculaire des Plantes – Institute of Plant Molecular Biology), where he defended his PhD thesis. His research was focused on the elucidation of metabolic pathways producing natural products and the understanding of plant physiology.
He joined Plant Advanced Technologies (PAT SA, Nancy) in 2013 to coordinate the scientific collaborative project BioProLor that aims at discovering and producing novel drugs and active compounds for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and agrochemical industries.
