Carine Lefèvre

Carine Lefèvre has a multitask experience. She obtained a master degree in chemistry at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium) in 1993 and a PhD in polymer chemistry at the same University in 1999. Carine Lefèvre has additional training of 2 years in Marketing and Communication at Instima (Brussels – Belgium). Before joining CoRI in 2012, she was working at MACtac (Belgium) for 12 years as first Project leader and after as Research & Technology Manager. MACtac is a leader in the pressure sensitive adhesive products. During this period Carine Lefevre was involved in adhesive formulation and she was collaborated with the main adhesive suppliers. She has experience in laboratory and projects management in a multi-sites matrix organization.
Carine Lefèvre is author of several scientific papers, patent and communications.
Now Since January 2013, she is the Director of the CoRI (Coatings Research Institute). CoRI has been created in 1957 by a group of industrial active in paint formulation. This research institute conducts research on the one hand and on the other hand answers to concrete problems submitted by these industrials.
