Caroline HILLAIRET

Caroline holds a diploma from the Chemical Engineer School of Marseille (today Ecole Centrale Marseille). She completed her studies at the University of Rennes with a PhD degree in 2003, on the topic of polyolefin catalysts and high-throughput screening. In 2003, she joined CERTECH in Belgium, a contract research organization, as R&D project manager. Caroline was responsible for leading collaborative projects in the unit “Catalysis and Synthesis”, and was in charge of industrial contracts. Her field of expertise covers organic and organometallic chemistry, catalysis, high-throughput screening, polymers as well as plant-based chemistry and bioplastics. In May 2014, she joined the SAS PIVERT as project leader, the SME in charge of managing the Institute for Energy Transition P.I.V.E.R.T. to develop the oilseed biorefinery of the future.
