Juliette JACQUES

Juliette JACQUES is Deputy Managing Director at STARCH EUROPE, the trade association that represents the interests of the European starch industry both at European and International level. Its membership comprises 24 EU starch producing companies, together representing more than 95% of the EU starch industry and, in associate membership, 7 national starch industry associations.

Juliette has been with STARCH EUROPE since 2014, managing some of the Association’s various Committees covering Economic Affairs, Environment, Trade and Specific Sector Groups, including potato starch and green chemistry, reaching common industry positions and promoting these positions to the EU institutions.

Previously, Juliette has worked in EU Public Affairs in Brussels, and in Finance in London, where she held positions with The London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Europe. She holds honours degrees in Economics and International Public Affairs from the University of Louvain in Belgium, and certificates from the UK Securities and Futures Authority, the UK Institute of Investment Management and Research, and the European Institute for Public Affairs and Lobbying.
