Françoise Gerardi

Francoise GERARDI is the General Manager of ELIPSO, the French Plastic and Flexible Packaging Association.
Initially trained in legal affairs and communication she turned to work in industry and has a 17-year experience in the packaging industry .
The main issues she has been dealing with environmental issues, communication for the industry she represents and packaging safety. She is involved in works with partners such as the french green dot company, National Council for Packaging (CNE) and also MPs and Public Authorities.
Concerning standardization work in packaging, she has been elected chairman of CEN TC 261
in 2011 after running CEN TC 261 / SC4 dealing with mandated standards on packaging and environment for several years.
