COMPANY PRESENTATION:

FACTORY PRESENTATION:
Roquette Lestrem is the largest biorefinery in Europe.
This plant is the main and historical site of the group. With an area of 150 hectares, the site lies on three communes and two Departments (Nord and Pas-de-Calais).
This factory converts 7 000 tons of grains each day and markets more than 700 products.
Roquette Lestrem site brings together many skills from the production areas to the main Research & Development center and also the head office where the central functions are performed: human resources, accounts, sales, management of IT systems … From the pilot project to the industrial application, the major part of the Roquette product ranges is imagined, designed and developed on this site.
The leading exporter of Nord – Pas de Calais, Roquette puts the region in pole position of the regions exporting agro-food products.
Furthermore, Roquette is the third biggest private employer in Pas de Calais with more than 2 800 staff.
Located close to the major cereal basins and the major consumer areas of Northern Europe, an important motorway network, numerous sea and river ports, multimodal platforms and railway lines, the factory enjoys a privileged geographical situation.

VISIT SCHEDULE:
During a short bus ride, you will see all the production units, but also corporate services, pilots and laboratories.
And then, you will have the opportunity to visit Europe’s main corn starch plant and our state of the art application laboratories.
